So im applying for a end of 8th grade scholarship (worth $2,500) and dont know what else to add to my essay to make it unique and different (I know its about me so you cant give me specific examples but please try to help)! HERE IT IS... My name is Douglas Scott Gardner and I am applying for the Tiernan-Keigher scholarship. I am currently in eighth grade at Griffin Middle School and have went to school their ever since I was in kindergarten. I have a brother that is also in the eighth grade and taking the same classes as me. I am currently taking geometry and I took algebra last year. I have also started cub scouts when I was in first grade and now, I’m a boy scout and, one rank away from being an eagle scout. I have always help the younger scouts advance though their ranks. My grandpa owns a farm and is starting to become too old to run it so I am always willing to help him out by doing whatever he asks me to. He taught me how to drive a truck, tractor, and a bulldozer, and weld stuff. I am very skilled at diving and working on machinery. I am also on a bowling league and I’m always helping my team out. I have qualified for the state Pepsi Bowling Tournament. Also I have done jazz band at school since sixth grade. Another extracurricular activity that I do is knowledge bowl. I have been doing that for like three years and have always enjoyed that. Also I snowboard and skateboard and am always trying to be as kind and helpful as I can all the time. My goals are to get my pilots license and to become a pilot, also become a good bowler, snowboarder, and downhill mountain biker. Some of my interests include bowling, snowboarding, skateboarding, and downhill and cross country mountain biking, hanging out with my friends, helping people out, and playing video games. My plans for high school are to attend Capital High School. I am planning to do running start program. My high school education will prepare me for my future because I’m planning on going to college. So my education will help me get a degree so that I will be closer to obtaining my goal of becoming a pilot.

Open Question: Is it a bad idea to see a band in biker city?

My boyfriend and I are not bikers and we are keep to ourselves and don't like confrontation kind of people and the band I wanna see don't come to the east coast that often and I really been wanting to see them for a long time now and they are playing in a biker city during bike week. And I heard this city can be wild because of the bikers please help.

Open Question: Is this normal behavior? Daddy with baby girl question- Need male perspective.?

So my therapist says I might be over thinking this, but it bothers me and I really think I need a male to explain it to me. These are just a couple things that have bothered me, but they are the most common and bother me the most. First of all, my husband puts our 2 year old girl to bed every night. He reads to her and rocks her in the chair. He usually strips down to just his boxer briefs for this- the kind that are thin and tight like biker shorts. This weirds me out first. Then when he rocks her she is most of the time positioned right on top of his crotch. Sometimes his legs are in the bent position and his feet on the rocking ottoman and she is between the legs with her head resting on his chest but her lower half on top of his "area." He has said that he's gotten hard before when she was playing on him, but he just moves it so she's not touching it. Is it normal for a man to rock his daughter like this? I can't prove that he's hard because I don't go in there and interrupt him putting her to sleep and I don't lift her off him to check. Today she and I came home and he was taking a nap. He was in just his briefs, but he definitely had the "morning wood." I can tell he tried to pull the blankets up so I wouldn't notice it, but he started to play with our daughter on the bed and he positioned her directly on top of it and was tickling her and playing. He bent his knees during this time so she was sitting on top of it while his knees were bent. Not sure if that makes a difference. Anyway- is this normal? Is it really not a big deal? Are men that sensitive down there? Would anything rocking on top of that area most likely cause a hard-on? Would that even be worth it for a guy if that's all he got. This is a very sensitive subject, and I've waited a while to ever ask about it. Please don't just say "he's a perve" or "you're a paranoid freak!" Also- he's only admitted to getting the erection when she's playing on him- as in jumping around and feet kicking it or something. I am under the impression that if it gets nudged or poked at repeatedly then it hardens. Doesn't it seem strange that he would have morning wood and put her on top of it? He does strip down to his boxer briefs quite frequently- especially if it's hot, so I don't feel like he does it only with her.

Open Question: out break movie question?

Um, i watched a movie not too long ago and i was wondering what it was called wanted to watch it again. In the movie they gear up a team and send them in to a like post apocalyptic world. Only twist about it tho is that world has been sealed off by a giant gate around i think it was England. The group they send in are looking for some thing and they start off inside tank. But then get ambushed by the crazy people inside of the gate. The people where like old school 90 bikers and cannibal's. They start to eat off the crew till just a woman is left and she ends up being the main char. She escapes and bails out on a train then they go to like this old school renaissance type area. She then has to fight this really big guy ends up killing him and taking the book she was after. Ugh i know i didn't leave much to work with on this topic but if any one could help me find the name of the movie id be grateful i wanna see it again =x. ty saskai that was the movie =x wish i knew how to turn the question from opened to closed
